This is the time of year that the University of Washington honors some of its best and brightest. Awards are given to honor outstanding teachers, staff, mentors and those engaged in public service. There are also awards for alumni and friends of the University who have distinguished themselves. On June 8, all these special people will be honored at a formal ceremony hosted by President Mark Emmert at 3:30 p.m. in Meany Hall. Here, we introduce you to the people behind the accomplishments.
