Entrance tickets are required for both our students and their guests. All tickets are complimentary and should be ordered by the student when completing the Commencement registration/order form, May 5 – May 25. Students receive their tickets when they pick up their apparel and other items during pick up week, June 4 – June 7, at the HUB.
If you are attending another school or college celebration please check the information for that ceremony to determine if tickets will be required for those events.
All guest tickets are for general admission seating, except those reserved for disability accommodations. We ask that students confirm the attendance of their guests before ordering, so that tickets are available for all who want them. All reasonable requests will be met. We will do everything possible to ensure that students are able to invite as many family and friends as they wish. If, after completing the Commencement registration/order form, students require additional tickets, they may request them on the date they selected to pick up their order.
All candidates are required to present a student entrance ticket along with a UWID or other ID to gain entrance to the student line-up areas. No student will be admitted without a ticket and appropriate ID. Entrance tickets will be automatically issued to those who complete the Commencement registration/order form for the ceremony.
Guests with Special Needs |
Certain sections of the stadium have been reserved for guests with special needs and students may order tickets for these sections when they place their order on line. To view a seating chart click here.
- Wheelchair seating – These sections accommodate 1 wheelchair and 1 chair for an attendant.
- Mobility impaired (MI) seating – These seats are reserved for guests who may have trouble climbing stairs. They consist of the first three rows of seats descending from the plaza (walk-in) level. A limited number of guests may sit with the mobility impaired guest in the MI sections.
Please be considerate of your fellow guests when selecting these tickets.
- American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter – These seats are located in Section 26 of the stadium. Guests in the ASL section may also have additional guests seated with them.
- Assistive Listening Device (ALD) – ALDs will be available for those who need them. No tickets are required for these devices, however, students should reserve them when completing the web form so that enough devices will be on hand the day of the event. Reserved devices can be picked up at Tunnel 6 on Commencement day.
